Dawn Caplin (General Manager)
Dawn is responsible for managing the day to day business at Breakaway. Reporting to the Board of Directors, her role involves implementing strategic plans and financial controls as well as business development and site hire. Managing a small Team of staff and responsible for a sizeable volunteer base. |

Jodie Davis (Fundraising Manager)
Jodie is responsible for funding our camps and special projects. Her role involves grant writing, fundraising and third party fund raising events. Jodie also looks after our website, marketing and communication to sponsors and supporters. |
Kath Castor (Camp Administrator and Volunteer Recruitment Coordinator)
Kath’s role entails overseeing all preparatory paperwork prior to camps and liaising with camp coordinators. She is also responsible for maintaining and updating our databases to ensure all records are current. Kath is also responsible for recruiting new volunteers for Breakaway. This role involves promoting Breakaway at a grass roots level so there is a greater understanding of Breakaway’s mission for example via the internet, traditional media and speaking engagements. As a result people volunteer to join our team. The role also involves developing the Education & Training area for volunteers and providing support to volunteers where needed. |

Merilyn Bailey (Options & Camp Development Administrator)
Merilyn coordinates frail, aged and intellectually disabled camps, known as Option camps. Merilyn is responsible for all the administration that supports our High Medical Needs family Camps. Merilyn assists with accounts and helps support our IT needs. |
