Camp Breakaway is there to assist the forgotten ones in our community. There is an ever-increasing demand on our services each year. We rely on the generosity of people who have a heart for helping others.
Your gift ensures we can:

Continue and expand our respite camps
Offer emergency respite accommodation
Provide independent holiday accommodation for people with disabilities and their families in the future

You can help make a real difference for people with a disability and their families by leaving a gift for Breakaway in your will.

Ensure you have a current will. If you do not have a solicitor, you can contact The Public Trustee NSW for advice and assistance.
If you already have a will, you can simply add a codicil — a short legal amendment to your existing will

Types of Bequests:

You can give a set amount
Your gift can take effect after the death of your spouse
You can choose to leave your entire estate or any percentage thereof
You can leave the whole or part of the residue of your estate
You can specify particular items such as shares or real estate
You can establish a perpetual trust
You can nominate Camp Breakaway Inc as the sole beneficiary of your life insurance policy

Wording For Your Will

Here are some examples of wording:

A specific sum
"I bequeath (free of all duties) the sum of $.... to Camp Breakaway Inc, with the written acknowledgement of the treasurer or other authorised officer of Camp Breakaway Inc to be accepted by the executors as a full and complete discharge."

Percentage
"I bequeath (free of all duties) ....% of my estate to Camp Breakaway Inc, with the written acknowledgement of the treasurer or other authorised officer of Camp Breakaway Inc to be accepted by the executors as a full and complete discharge."

The residue
"I bequeath (free of all duties) the residue of my estate to Camp Breakaway Inc, with the written acknowledgement of the treasurer or other authorised officer of Camp Breakaway Inc to be accepted by the executors as a full and complete discharge."
