Volunteer Training Workshops

In order to offer more flexibility to our volunteers, one day training sessions will now be held throughout the year. All volunteers are required to receive training relevant to the respective role undertaken at Breakaway.

Once you have decided to join the Breakaway Team, you will need to undergo various training and orientation sessions. Your training as a Breakaway volunteer will depend largely on which area you wish to work.

Volunteer Training Modules

In order to offer flexibility to our volunteers, training sessions will be held throughout the year. It is a requirement for all volunteers to have received training relevant to the respective role undertaken at Breakaway. The training has been divided into 7 Modules, and roles at Breakaway have been separated into 7 different groups.

Next Training Dates for Modules 1 & 2: Saturday 4th February 2012, 5th May 2012, 25th August 2012 and 24th November 2012, 8:30am - 4:30pm.
