Give a Child with a Disability a Break Away

Child in wheelchair with carer

Have you ever wondered how families who have a child with a disability cope, and whether they can actually take a holiday?

Many families who have a child with a disability rarely get a proper holiday. If they can get past financial and time challenges, they have to take into consideration mobility aids, medication, disability friendly accommodation and the nearest medical centre.

Consequently, many parents feel that a holiday is just not possible -

"We rarely get a night out. Caring has impacted heavily on our daily lives and our work. We are self-employed and when Kassie is unwell there is simply no option but for us to close our business".

Please help provide a break away for a child with disabilities, either with their family - a High Needs Family Weekend, or in a the company of other children - a Sleepover Weekend.
